Survey Background and Objectives
The CCVS-Uganda Satisfaction Survey 2023 aimed to assess the effectiveness of specialized psychological rehabilitation services provided in the districts of Kitgum, Lira, Alebtong, and Oyam. The survey collected feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders to evaluate service satisfaction, identify challenges, and recommend improvements. The study was conducted using a mixed-method approach, including face-to-face and telephone interviews, and targeted former clients, community mobilizers, and trained stakeholders.
Key Findings and Beneficiary Satisfaction
The survey results indicate a high level of satisfaction with CCVS-Uganda’s services. About 99% of respondents reported being “very satisfied” with the services provided, with 76.5% rating their overall experience as “great” and 22.1% as “good”.
Beneficiaries highlighted improvements in emotional well-being, self-confidence, and relationships within their communities. However, some respondents expressed a need for additional services, such as livelihood support, financial aid, and extended counseling sessions.
Recommendations and Future Considerations
Stakeholders emphasized the importance of expanding services to reach more beneficiaries and integrating financial and material support into existing psychological programs. They also suggested enhancing follow-up sessions and extending community counseling initiatives. The report concludes that CCVS-Uganda should continue refining its service delivery by addressing identified gaps and incorporating stakeholder recommendations for greater impact
