CCVS-Uganda Annual Report 2025

When we returned to the communities in Kitgum at the end of 2025, people were already waiting. Some had been part of our work before. Others had heard about it and came hoping for support.Earlier that year, we had been forced to pause most of our activities after our main funding ended. For a while, it was uncertain if we would be able to continue at all.Thanks to funding from foundations in the Netherlands, we reopened the office, reconnected with local leaders, and resumed counselling and community outreach.The need for mental health support has not disappeared, and we will continue rebuilding, together with the communities we have been working alongside for many years.
